Introductory A class designed to introduce the beginning student to hatha yoga

Level 1 A foundation for learning the whole scope and depth of hatha yoga taught in standing poses, headstand, shoulderstand and other fundamental postures. It is recommended all students new to yoga take this level for 1 to 2 years

Level 2 Deeper and expanded study of the standing poses and basic postures. Head balance, shoulderstand variations, unsupported backbends are taught. It is recommended that students spend 2 years at this level

Level 3 A solid working knowledge of postures is taught with regular practice of inversions and backbends. Students should be developing a consistent, self-directed practice

Level 4-5 This 2 hour class is for teachers and students with a maturity in postures through Level 3 and a consistent self-directed practice. Permission of the teacher is required


asana for pure joy and self compassion 1:  A level 1 class with a focus on creating a calm mind and a stronger more balanced body. This class will challenge yet not overwhelm. This is a beautiful way to start your week! Mondays 11am-12:15 pm Candy Gay

strengthening for seniors 1: Using the Active isolated stretching, the AIS method developed by aaron mattes, you will learn the basic protocols for the neck, shoulders and hips to increase flexibility, which will reduce pain, lessen the chance of injury and lead to a better quality of life.  Mondays 2:00-3:15 pm Linda Owens

intro to meditation via yoga 1-2: Hatha one aspect of Hatha yoga is contraction and relaxation.  In this class we will attend to releasing the tendency towards restless breath, relaxation of effort, and comfort and ease in postures. This class is designed for all levels and all body types. Any posture can be modified to suit your individual needs. this is a great class for anyone curious about yoga as well as for anyone interested in enhancing his/her current yoga practice. gentle flow vinyasa yoga 1-2:  Join tasha grand in her gentle flow series inspired by P. Jois, BKS Iyengar, Shiva Rea and Sivananda. This class will gently awaken your body and spirit with breath and movement while refreshing your awareness on how to still the mind with guided meditation. This class is primarily a level 1 class with options for level 2, so it is appropriate for all. Tuesdays 11:00 am – 12:15 Tasha Grand

new beginning & foundations yoga 1: Just what it says: begin or begin again. This is a gentle class designed to familiarize you with the classical practice of Hatha yoga. Learn to steady the mind by steadying the breath. joint freeing yoga series introductory ALL LEVELS: Devised by my teacher Mukunda Stiles, the Joint Freeing Series will first teach you to evaluate joint freedom and learn anatomy. Regular practice will maintain limber joints and improve circulation. Committed practice will shift attention to the energy level of pranayama practice to create a pranic flow through the pranamayakosha. Appropriate for beginners and those wanting a slower paced class. solar vinyasa yoga 1 – 3: Vinyasa basics is a flowing class with an emphasis on ujayii pranayama (breath) and proper alignment. Vinyasa Basics. Drawn to the grace and flow of Vinyasa, but unsure how to begin? This class offers guidance in how we link asanas, and is designed to offer options to all levels. Wherever you are in your practice, this class will support your understanding of how to practice Vinyasa (flow) with excellent alignment. This class is primarily a level 1 -2 class, with options for those with a more establishes practice.  Saturdays 8:30-9:45 am E Cooper Rajeshwari Seay or Casey Scott

asana basics and foundations in yoga 1: Asana basics is a slower paced, all-rounder class designed to teach you the basics of the postures. the philosophy of yoga 1-5 ALL LEVELS: Yoga is both art and science. One of my teachers called it simply, “a recipe for happiness”. For various reasons which we will discuss in class, the full teachings of Yoga still require perseverance and a bit of digging. If your idea of Yoga begins and ends with hatha yoga (physical postures and conscious breathing ), I invite you to join us on a deep dive into philosophy and techniques that are time proven to help you discover your true potential.
